About Don Bristow
Don Bristow synthesizes advances in printing technology with his passion for
photography and mathematics to create large panoramic photographs and
mathematical renderings that enhance business environments and inspire
creative thinking.

Bristows fascination with infinite mathematics started in 1980, and 28 years
later the
concept of Chaotica, a series of mathematical renderings on aluminum
that equates arts with mathematics, was conceived.

Chaotica is a very exciting project. says Bristow. Like nature photography,
it s a process of search and discovery. Chaotica is based on the field of
mathematics called Chaos Theory, the field of mathematics that shows random
chaotic events to be structured patterned happenings.

Among his favorite subjects to photograph are artists engaged in the process of
creating their art. Bristows portraits of artists have brought together as many
as 18 artists in a single gallery exhibit, featuring both the portraits and
representative artworks from each artist.
